1. The rights you can exercise
- Access — ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correction — ask us to fix information that is inaccurate, misleading or out of date.
- Deletion — ask us to delete information or close your account, where we are not legally required or entitled to keep it (tax, accounting, dispute and security records often must be retained).
- Objection — object, on reasonable grounds, to processing we base on legitimate interests, and ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Withdraw consent — for example, end practitioner sharing or turn off location assistance.
- Direct-marketing opt-out — object at any time to marketing communications.
- Complain — to us first, and then to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Many changes are faster to make yourself inside the app — profile details, records, practitioner consents and exports where your plan allows.

4. How we handle your request
We acknowledge requests as soon as reasonably possible and aim to resolve them promptly. PAIA access requests are handled within the statutory period, normally 30 days, which may be extended where the Act allows. If we cannot give effect to a request, we will explain why and tell you what options you have.
5. PAIA access requests
A request for a record other than your own personal information is handled under PAIA. The prescribed form and fees apply, and the process is set out in our PAIA Manual. The current forms and fee schedule are published by the Information Regulator (South Africa) at https://inforegulator.org.za/paia/.
6. Complaints to the Information Regulator
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): https://inforegulator.org.za/ or enquiries@inforegulator.org.za. The Regulator publishes the current POPIA and PAIA complaint forms on its website.
